[Foodie] Swissotel Kopi Tiam

Good Evening Readers!!!

It is based on my friend's recommendation that I've decided to have my dinner at a high class Kopitiam which is called Swissotel Kopi Tiam. She gushed about the great food and this handsome "Ang Mo" server. So there we are, at Swissotel's Kopi Tiam, for our dinner =) A place which serves Singapore's signature dishes.

Red Monkey & Mango Cooler
Red Monkey: Refreshing blend of strawberries and creamy banana
Mango Cooler: An exotic tropical mango blend

Nasi Lemak Enak (S$15.50)
Pandan-flavoured rice cooked in coconut milk, served with fried fish, fried chicken, omelette, ikan bilis, peanuts & sambal

Kopi Tiam Laksa (S$16.50)
Thick rice noodle with prawn, fish cake slices & dou pok in rich spicy broth

Ice Kachang (S$7.50)
Mountain of shaved ice with coloured syrup, served with sweet corn, palm fruits & assorted jelly, topped with your choice of ice cream

Overall Verdict?
- Service: Excellent! The "Ang Mo" server was very very attentive, and not to mention... handsome! *Blush* The other servers were also very polite.
- Food: The Nasi Lemak is great! As for the Laska, I would prefer Asam Laska (after trying it in Malacca - Read in my previous post) to Singapore Laska. As usual, I'm biased towards sweet desserts, and hence the Ice Kachang is awesome!!!
- I will definitely return for the "Ang Mo" server! Haha... Just kidding! The food is not bad. But for that price... you can get the same food for a cheaper price else where.

I managed to steal a shot of this "Ang Mo" server... Here's a tiny picture of him... *Evil laughter* It's not very clear though...
