[Foodie] Ichiban Boshi @ Nex

Konichiwa Readers!!!

There I go again... Nex -.-"' Haha... This time round, had cravings for Japanese Food. Hence, dinner was settled at ICHIBAN BOSHI!!! Why there? Because on thursday they have this promotion :-

They have daily promotion i suppose, but I was more interested in the thursday promotion at Ichiban Boshi. On the recent thursday, their $1 ala carte item was ........ *drum roll*........

Hotate Mentai Mayo Yaki (S$1)
Scallop with mayonnais cod roe

The usual price for this "Hotate Mentai Mayo Yaki"  is S$8.90, however, on that said day, if you order a set meal, you will be able to enjoy this at only S$1! We also ordered the following set meals...

Black Pepper Gindara Gozen (S$22.90)
Sizzling black pepper cod fish, assorted mushroom rice bowl with scrambled egg, chawanmushi, appetizer, miso soup & fruit

Don-Don Wazen (S$19.90)
Mini unagi rice bowl with scrambled egg and mini chilli salmon (raw) rice bowl, assorted tempura, chawanmushi, appetizer, miso soup & fruit

Overall Verdict?
- Service: Not bad, the servers do make an attempt in providing a good service despite it being the peak period.
- Food: Food was alright, nothing very special.
- I probably will return again, and Ichiban Boshi is indeed a better Japanese Restuarant as compared to the other Japanese Eateries around.
