[Foodie] Wedding Dinner: Peony Jade @ The Keppel Club

Good Day Readers!!!

Happy New Year to you all! 2012 is going to be a rather popular year for couples to tie the knot. So I have decided to blog about some of the Wedding Lunches / Dinners that I had attended.

The most recent wedding dinner I attend was held at Peony Jade @ The Keppel Club (Mezzanine Floor).

So without further ado, here's the dishes that were served that night of the wedding dinner =D

CHINESE MENU

Peony Jade Passion Platter
Chilled Scallops Salad Mayo with Tropical Fresh Fruits
Roasted Sucking Piglet Sliced Crackling Skin
Marinated Baby Octopus
Cheng Du Spicy Cold Chicken
Slow-Pit Fire BBQ Pork Cubes

Wok-Sauteed Seafood Ensemble with Macadamia Nuts

Braised 8-Treasures Premier Shark's Fin Bouillon

Deep-Fried 'Cheng Du' Pork Spare Ribs

Steamed "Soon Hock" Fish "Hong Kong" Style with Premier Light Soy

Braised Sliced Australian Abalone with Broccoli

Roasted Free-Range Chicken with Preserved Bean Paste

Braised Ee-Fu Noodles and Mushroom with Premier Abalone Jus

Chilled Fresh Mango Puree with Pomelo Sacs and Sago Pearls

Overall, I felt the food was not bad. Personally I like their "Soon Hock" Fish... Shark Fin was a generous serving =D

In terms of service, there were lots of students part-timing there.
