[Foodie] Melt @ Mandarin Oriental Singapore

Hi Readers!!!

I was browsing through my pictures when I realised I didn't blog about my Valentine Day buffet dinner (it was worth blogging). Okok, I know it's a month ago... well, better later than never right? =P Anyway, we celebrated our Valentine Day at Melt. Upon reaching the venue, we were brought into our reserved seats without delay.

On each tables was a beautiful and fully bloomed rose for the ladies. Awww... so sweet of them...

I was charmed by the presentation and selection of the food. There was a large variety of them, and among the various stations I was instantly drawn to this... FOIE GRAS STATION! I was like "What!!! They have a Foie Gras Station!!!" This is a station which I have yet to see in other buffets...

Yumz! of course Melt also have the usual stations such as sushis, sashimis, seafood, oyster, pasta, meat, desserts, etc... Pictures shown below...

Since it was during Valentine day, their desserts are mainly design in a romantic way. Lots and lots of hearts and love all around. It's a really pretty sight...

Overall, the buffet isn't really cheap. Maybe it's Valentine Day, we spent $108++ per person. In terms of service, they were rather attentive, plates were clear fast and it's important. Recently I went to have dinner at a place and they take a very long time to clear the plates. And the tables that we were in, are very small. So yep, clearing the plates fast is an important factor to me.

I also felt that they serving the foie gras gives them brownies points. Haha... really unique. In terms of taste, they are one of the better places to have buffet in. If you want to pamper yourself, why not this place?
