[Foodie] Sante Fe @ Stewords Riverboat

Good Morning Readers!!!

Tired of always having to eat on land? Not able to have dinner on a cruise? Well, I'm going to introduce a rather interesting place to all of you. *Drum Rolls* Sante Fe on board Stewords Riverboat!!! A place where you dine on a Boat! Sounds awesome right =) The place is quite deserted. Without a car, it may deem a little troublesome to go. So yeah, we were there by car.....

We decided to go on a Thursday because on that day, it's Ladies Night!!! Yeah! Here's the promotion leaflet which I got it from their website (website address stated right below this post).

They even got a singer to serenade the diners. Not so bad right!

After a while, we decided on the food! *Hungry hungry*

Free Drink & Cookies for the Ladies

Cookies & Cream Thick Milkshakes (S$6.90)

Rio Grande Grilled Salmon (S$10nett) - For Ladies Only
Fillet of Salmon ladled over with Rio Grande spicy cream sauce. Served with mashed potato & grilled vegetables.

Catch-O-The-Day Pasta (S$29.90)
Tiger Prawns, Mussels, Scallops, and Squid flambed in white wine and braised n marinara sauce, served over a bed of spaghetti & sauteed onions sizzling on a skillet.

Waffle Sundae (S$6.90)
Waffle with a scoop of ice cream, a matching sauce, whipped cream & a cherry.

Overall Verdict?
- Service: They are attentive. Not bad! There's even a waiter who will open the door for you. And once you are sitted, here comes the free drink & cookie for the ladies.
- Food: I was rather disappointed with the Rio Grande Grill Salmon, there was a bone in the salmon =( The food were only average. But yeah, I loved the waffle sundaes.
- If you are prone to having seasick, this may not be an ideal place for you to have dinner, as the sea may get a little rough at times.
