Part 2 of my Perth trip will be focused on Perth City
Perth City / Other Parts
Kings Park and Botanic Garden
Address: Perth WA 6005, Australia
It's a great place for children to run about and for adults to chill in one corner. Fresh air, pretty flowers, great scenery are some words that sums up Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Here are some pictures...
There is also an Ivey Watson Playground. Totally suitable for children!
Address: Swan River, Perth Western Australia, Australia
There's a link from Kings Park and Botanic Garden to the Blue House and we decided to walk down as a means to exercise after few days of eating and eating and more eating. Blue House is one of the instagram-worthy place in Perth.
St Mary Cathedral
Address: Victoria Square, Perth WA 6000, Australia
The interior of this Cathedral is beautiful. It has a calming effect and if you are in the vicinity, do drop by to pray or take a look!
Bell Tower
Address: Barrack Square Riverside Dr, Perth WA 6000, Australia
A touristy place. Nothing fantasy in my opinion. Can give it a miss if not enough time...
Have to pay to take the elevator to the top |

Address: 310 Hay St, East Perth WA 6004, Australia
A place to buy collectables. In my opinion, unless you want to buy crafted theme or limited edition coins, or expensive gift and jewellery, you can probably give this place a miss.
This is one of the street where you can find lots of foot wear and attire i.e. foot locker, cotton on, forever new and many more. I bought a pair of shoes from foot locker and their service is superb. The staffs are efficient, fast and polite!
Chicho Gelato
Address: 180 William St, Northbridge WA 6003, Australia
I love their gelato! They have some pretty unique flavours. I tried their toasted rice and it's awesome. What I like is that it's not too sweet for me. Do try it out!
Corica Pastries
Address: 106 Aberdeen St, Northbridge WA 6003, Australia
While researching on the must-eat-food in Perth, I came across this highly recommended pastries place for their apple strudel. It's really good especially when you eat it on the day you bought the apple strudel. The apple strudel is crispy and not overly sweet. I also tried their blackberry and apple strudel but it was a tad too sweet for me. I still prefer their original apple strudel. A must buy if you are here!

After having our dinner at Good Fortune Roast Duck, we decided to purchase a cake from The Cheesecake Shop. Took us a little while to decide on the flavour as there were a variety of cakes. What I liked about them is that you can purchase half a cake so as to try more flavours.

As there were alot of people waiting for tables, we decided to have our dinner as a take out. I'm not sure if the quality of the food differs when dining in and take-aways but I didn't really find anything particularly special about their pastas :( Maybe the next time when I'm in Perth, I will try to dine in instead.
Already have so many people waiting outside |
Bullsbrook
Ti Strawberry Farm
Address: 263 Old West Road, Wanneroo, Western Australia, Australia 6084
This is a Pick Your Own strawberry farm which is usually opened from October to December. The best is to visit their Facebook page to get a more recent update. We were there to try out picking our own strawberries. My advice is to go there earlier during your trip so that you will have more time to eat the strawberries. The only downside is that there are alot of fruit flies. So irritating. Other than that, it was a fun experience!
