[Travel] Hong Kong - 6 days 5 nights F&E (Part 3/3)

Ello Readers!!!

Welcome back to my final post on HK. As per my previous post, you may want to read Part 1 & 2 before reading this. =)

Mongkok Station
Tung Choi / Ladies Street (女人街)
To me, there's nothing much at Ladies Street. This place sells mainly handphone accessories (i.e. handphone casing - comes in many designs), clothes, bags, souvenirs (i.e. luggage tags...etcs).

Direction: Exit D2

Sai Yeung Choi Street (Argyle Centre)
My second favourite place to shop after H&M. There are plenty of shops that sells clothes, shoes, bags and gifts. It is very crowded on weekends, and note, most stalls do not let you try on their clothes.

Direction: Exit D3

Also, while you are here, do try their cold noodle (pastas). It's in a plastic packet form, something fun, interesting and different.

章記香港仔魚蛋王
This eatery sells awesome fish skin. The noodles are also yummy! It's located opposite Argyle Centre.

Address: 150 Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mong Kok (旺角西洋菜街150號地下)

Fried Fish Skin

Fish ball Noodle Soup (HKD23)

Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup (HKD23)

Beef Stew Noodle Soup (HKD23)

Tai Hing Roast Restaurant(太興燒味餐廳)
This place is an awesome place for their roasted meat. I think their environment is spacious and clean. Loved their "Chilled Original Milk Tea". However, I didn't like their rice, probably because we were one of their last few customers, and hence the rice is from the bottom of the rice cooker. It's sticky and a little hard...

Sha Tin Station
New Town Plaza
This was an impromptu decision to visit this shopping centre. It was one of the last few days where we covered most of our targeted venues. Do you know that they even had a Snoopy Place?

Direction: Exit A

Lai Chi Kok Station
Hong Kong Industrial Centre
Went there on a Saturday. It's a place where there are lots of clothes, bags and accessories to buy.

Direction: Exit C

Disneyland Resort Station
Disneyland
Was really excited to visit Disneyland *jumping around* to see all my idol princesses as a kid (PS: I have grown out of it) Hehe... When we arrived, the sky was cloudy. Upon checking the weather report via iphone, we were informed that there's a typhoon No. 3 today =( True enough, while queuing to have our pictures taking with Mickey & Minnie Mouse, it started raining and the wind was blowing ever so strongly *Groans* Hence, it was raining the entire day. That being the case, a lot of outdoor attractions were cancelled...... *Sad* Thank Goodness, the parade and the fireworks at 8.20pm were not cancelled.

Overall Experience? I enjoyed this trip, the exchange rate was very good as compared to a year ago. SGD1 = HKD6.29 (As at June 2011). Went crazy in H&M... Had a crazy experience in Disneyland because of the weather. I heard that July is a better time to go as there are Summer Sales, but there maybe typhoon. Nevertheless, if you are planning to go HK, I hope you will enjoy your trip! Thanks for reading =D

Good Night folks *.*
