Was at this ice cream parlor called Salted Caramel this afternoon as I had craving for Waffles Ice Cream.
One glance at the menu, waffles itself cost $3.50. There were 12 ice cream flavours to choose from. Spoiled for choice, eh... Also, one thing I like about this place is that there's a choice of either the Chocolate Syrup or the Maple Syrup to go with your waffles ice cream.
Salted Caramel and Horlick Tim Tam Waffles (with Maple Syrup)
Rum & Raisins Waffles (with Maple Syrup)
The damage? $15 in total. In my opinion, the waffles is not crispy enough. It would be better if it's crispier so nothing to shout about the waffles. The waffles from Scoopz (read my previous post) was much better.
We tried the ice cream next. The Salted Caramel is awesome, I really love it. The Horlick Tim Tam had bits of chocolates in it. The Rum & Raisins was nice, you can actually feel the alcohol in the ice cream. Overall, I like their ice cream, it's fluffy and smooth.
However, the waffles ice cream became a little too sweet for me as I continue eating. I believe it because the maple syrup itself is already sweet, hence the sweetness.
