Places of Interest
Train to Pisa Centrale
Took a train down to Pisa tower. The train ticket toward Pisa Centrale can be purchased from the Ticket Machine at €7,80 for one way. Do remember to validate your ticket just before you board the train. Failure to do so, may result in fines. I have personally seen a family of tourists who forgotten to validate their tickets and when the train conductor was on board to check the tickets, they were caught and had to pay a fine.
We reach Pisa Centrale station about an hour later, took a look at the rundown map (see below) and proceeded to walk towards Pisa Tower!
Took about 30 minutes to walk to Pisa Tower! Fast eh... There were lots of tourists posing pictures in front of the Pisa Tower. Of course, being the typical tourists we did the usual pose in front of the Pisa Tower like "pushing the Pisa Tower", smiling... etc.
Like all tourist attractions, there is a souvenir shop. Do pick up some of their souvenirs :D
Cathedral
For those who wished to go to the top of the Pisa Tower can purchase a ticket from the Ticketing Counter. Do remember to get the free ticket (max of 2 people) to the Cathedral from the Ticketing Counter.
Back to Pisa Centrale Train Station
And after staying and loitering for about an hour or so, we decided to head back to the train station. Instead of taking the same route, we decided to be adventurous and took a different route. We took about 45 minutes to reach the train station -.-"' I love the tranquility of the town.

McDonald's
I was hungry after all the walking, and hence decided to buy a burger from McDonald's!

After eating, it was time to board the train! Goodbye Pisa!!!

Rivoire Pasticceria
I really liked this restaurant for their ambience. A nice warm style café, although it's small and cramp (tables and placed really near to each other), but they provided a warm feeling in the depressing weather. They had many adorable Easter Eggs on display <3

We stopped by Pizzeria because we decided to munch on Pizza! I love how the food were being displayed.
We tried their Mushroom Pizza. Despite the look, the Pizza actually taste nice. It was big, warm, soft and oh-so-yummy, and it cost us €3,50.
Looking back now, I concluded that we were insane. In such a glacial weather, we actually bought gelato to eat. We tried the Caramel Gelato. However, I found its taste pretty standard.

Overall, I was quite disappointed in Florence. Partly due to the rain and cold weather which hindered our exploration. The good thing about Florence was that (with the exception of Pisa) all the places of attractions were walkable. If you are the arty farty person, you will probably enjoy Florence. Oh yes, it's also a good place for pre-wedding photos as they have beautiful architectures.
And that marked the end of my Florence's trip. We headed to London next. So stay tuned!
