Today I'm going to share with you this little cozy place that I happen to chance upon one Saturday :D *excited* Well, how do I know of this place? It happen on a Saturday when I was with my friends. Was hungry and thus decided to try out this place for our Saturday Brunch!
What's this mysterious place??? Haha... okok, I spoilt it in my title.... but in case if you don't know... it's......
This is what we order.................
Eggs Benedict / Florentine (S$14)
Seriously, pictures don't look as nice... but this is simply delicious! The salty ham goes really well with the tender egg, and there were bits of sour cream power (you know... those sour cream potato chips ) sprinkled on the egg. I felt that the egg was cooked just nice, it won't break that easily and goes totally well with the ham and mini toast. Totally mouth-watering.
Smoked Salmon with Scrambled Eggs & Toast (S$16)
As for this, there are 2 ways to eat it. And both of the ways are awesome. The first way is to eat it individually. I love the scrambled eggs totally. It's soft, fluffy and milky! Yumz... The salmon is quite salty, but smoked salmon is meant to be salty ya. Thank God there are no burns on the toast, so that makes it totally cool! The second way is to put the ingredients between the toast. Earlier, I mentioned that the salmon is salty, so by putting them together, the egg would compliment the salmon. So the salmon will not turn out to be too salty.
Housemade Batter Pancakes with Maple Syrup, Fresh Cream & Mixed Fruit Platter (S$14)
Of the 3 dishes, this is probably my favourite. The pancakes are not those you find in McDonalds. It's totally awesome! Why? Coz, firstly it's thick! Yes... THICK! I was quite appalled when I first saw it. The butter and the maple syrup compliments each other. I was totally in loved with this dish when I took the first bite. It fluffy and it somehow melts in your mouth. I consider myself to be some what a light eater, but I finished majority (oopz) and felt really full after that -.-"'
In conclusion, you play for the quality. This is a little on the pricey side, but the quality... it's awesome. Do pop by some time to try out this place. But, the serving of the food can be slowwww..... So patience yah! Don't worry, the staffs are really friendly too ~~
